Education & Publications

Dr. Neha Lalani completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Buffalo – Sisters of Charity program, where she got to work with renowned Endocrinologist Dr. Paresh Dandona. Then she moved to Kansas City to complete a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. During this time, she cared for thousands of sick patients at Kansas University Medical Center and the VA of Kansas City, MO. After completing the fellowship, she served the Petersburg and Emporia, VA rural communities. During this time, she developed an interest in learning about the disease of obesity and strategies to treat patients with obesity, which led her to get certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Lalani firmly believes in the importance of mutual respect in the physician-patient relationship and forming partnerships with patients while deciding about treatment plans for the best outcomes.
